How to Install LBP2900 printer in Ubuntu and Centos Linux

Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub


root@corp94:~# /usr/sbin/lpadmin -p SETHI -m CNCUPSLBP2900CAPTK.ppd -v ccp://localhost:59687 -E

Note: Where SETHI is a Printer Name  CNCUPSLBP2900CAPTK.ppd driver NAME

root@corp94]# sudo /usr/sbin/ccpdadmin -p LBP2900 -o /dev/usb/lp0

Note: /dev/usb/lp0 is a Device path

root@corp94:~# /etc/init.d/ccpd start

Please Start this service not restart and this script at startup id you need this

root@corp]# captstatusui -P SETHI

To check statuts of Printer or Release any Pending job
